Jeffrie Po is a Filipino director, cinematographer and editor. From Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, born November 27, 1987. He joined the Northern Mindanao Documentary Film workshop in Quezon City year 2015 organized by Goethe-Institut and Sine Tres Marias. He also attended the 4th Salamindanaw Mindanao Screen Lab in the year 2016. One of his video piece Kadena: A Chain of Events (2014, 33mins), a documentary about how a brotherhood volunteered work in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in Tacloban and the 2013 earthquake in Bohol. His first full length documentary film “The Soil of Dreams” which was also supported by Goethe-Institut and Sine Tres Marias won the best documentary film and Sulyap Kultara Award in the 12th Mindanao Film Festival last December 2016 and was selected among the finalists of Salaya Documentary Film Festival in Salaya, Thailand last March 2017. His first short narrative fiction film “Ang Ikaduhang Pagbalik” garnered the Best 2nd Film Award and Sulyap Kultura Award in the Cinemagis – Digital Short Film Festival last January of 2017. He participated in the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival Rough Cut Program last Oct 2017 with his new film project.
